Many of us do not realize that choice is a spiritual gift. Dr. Holmes reminds us "Every moment we are making choices." How you choose to respond to life's circumstances determines the experiences that you or I will have.
How empowering to be told that you can choose the life you want to live! You can choose to be who you are and not have others design your future. This can be both exciting and confusing as we explore our inherent greatness. This month three dynamic ministers who have done just that will bless us.
Rev. Mark Accomando will be returning to share with us how he has chosen to fulfill his souls purpose. Observing the many different directions his life has taken reveals a divine design behind it all.
In November, Grace Gifford will come aboard as a new Staff Minister. She has chosen to pursue a ministry of Loving Care for our community. Listening to her journey you know that there is a Higher Power guiding her in this great adventure that continues to unfold as her ministry takes form.
Finally, the Rev. Pat King will be blessing us with her big heart and inspiring message as she examples how you and I can claim our greatness. Her life is a testimonial to the Principles of this wonderful teaching. Simply speaking, she walks her talk.
All of these individuals "chose" to walk to the beat of a different drummer. They let this teaching get under their skin and in the process their lives were transformed. What is really great is that they are all at a new threshold of their Spiritual magnificence.
My heart fills up with gratitude for the sweetness of this life and its mystery. When we say, "yes" to our destiny, life reveals "something more" that excavates our authentic self. A friend of mine used to say, "Your life is waiting for you to happen."
We are all blessed to be conscious and able to choose who we will be. Our Center is dedicated to empowering individuals to make those choices that will lead to happiness and fulfillment.
Together we are building a community that is supportive and nurturing of this burgeoning awareness that comes from the Divine within us.
I celebrate the God in you from the God in me.
