Our Center is undergoing another growth opportunity. The long awaited classroom edition is about to commence with all the chaos and mess that accompany such an endeavor. The Chinese have a saying; "Circumstances are the challenges of the weak and the opportunities of the strong." Some of us will be challenged by this change while others will rally in wholehearted enthusiasm. Both are fine.
Summertime also brings changes in classes and Sunday services. While I am at the East and West Coast Religious Science Conferences, I have asked some wonderful speakers and musicians to give their gift to our Center. I hope you will support them with your attendance and enthusiasm. A powerful class will be offered on Tuesday nights as an ongoing community activity that will also serve a greater purpose.
We have a new Junior Church coordinator, Marti Steadman. She is radiant with love and enthusiasm and is excited to create a dynamic youth program at the Center. Bring your kids and expose them to Truth teachings.
Grace Gifford is about to become a new Staff Minister. Her focus is on the Loving Care Community and her big heart is the launching pad for an active Practitioner service to all those who require assistance as they fall apart and reassemble.
Life is about growth. To grow we must be willing to embrace change. A friend reminds me that change can be messy. Ah, it is what it is.
In the midst of the chaos, there is order. We get to find that Still Point within us and smile. I am so grateful for all of you who lend your love and support to our Spiritual Home.
We are an environment that nurtures the soul as we go through our own transformations. It requires a willingness on our part to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. It asks that we let go of yesterday so we can embrace today and invite the possibility of a new tomorrow.
I often remind myself, "I am safe, it's only change…. doors close and doors open…I am safe, it's only change."
Thank you for supporting us through the changes. Together we are shifting consciousness into a reality of Oneness where head and heart merge as one.
