Reverend David "Cause and effect, means and ends, seed and fruit, cannot be severed; for the effect already blooms in the cause, the end preexists in the means, the fruit in the seed"

Ralph Waldo Emerson

The REAL Self is pressing forward, ever unfolding in our lives. We cannot stay in the ignorance of Self denial much longer. There is a higher order of Being that is seeking to be born in all of us. I like to think of it as our budding soul, which, when given the right conditions flowers in carefree abandon.
Many of us are hungering for this integration of our Spiritual awareness with our human expression. Kabir reminds us. "The intense longing does all the work.,' It asks that we be willing to change who we thought we were so that we might discover the greatness of who we really are.
As we shed the old patterns and acquire new ones we often put ourselves into crisis, vacillating in that "change-don't change" indecisiveness. We may, or may not, want something to change and if and when it begins, we resist it, putting ourselves in the anxiety of confusion and inaction. Overcoming our own resistance's is the key to moving forward.
"Blessed is the one who has discovered that there is nothing permanent in life but change." wrote A.P. Gouthey Life becomes a blessing to us all when we embrace that change with a smile on our lips and a song in our heart, as Dr. Holmes used to say.
Inherent within us is a divine purpose that is awaiting our discovery. Like the mighty oak tree waiting to emerge from the humble acorn, you and I are god seeds ready to germinate.
Spring is soon upon us. The mother is pregnant with new life. We are not separate from this fertile ground of Being. A new season of growth is waiting to happen through us all and all it asks is that we be responsible for what it is that we grow.
What are you going to do with the growing awareness you have? Are you going to cultivate a renewed life with an expanded vision, or merely maintain last year's model? There is more, so much more to discover, we must continually ask ourselves how committed are we to this greater idea.
The Spirit in us no longer requires problems in order to get better. It does require a willingness to listen, then hear and ultimately authorize our own life. Let us be the person who sees the world as it could be and asks "WHY NOT?"
Inherent within us are the seeds of greatness. Let us build a world where we put God first in all our endeavors.
