What exciting times these are! There is energy of Pure Awareness that is emerging within the hearts and minds of humanity. It is guiding us all into a greater realization of oneness with all life. This interconnectedness requires our participation for it to be made conscious and manifest in new ways.
In both December and January we have many exciting events that will take you into that energy of love. As you come to Sunday services or classes and workshops, observe how you feel when you leave. Something is stirring within. That is the wine of Spirit.
The Bible tells us that we cannot put new wine in old wine skins. How true! New containers are required for this "new" wine. Some find themselves leaving old beliefs behind and allowing the emerging awakened consciousness to find a way into their lives. Spirit wants to flow freely and be revealed in us all.
It is our intention to continually midwife this "new" life. Our theme for 2007 will be SERVING THE ONE. Throughout the year we will go deeply into ways that we can awaken ourselves and the world to this consciousness of oneness and how we might serve It. We know when our attention is on something, the Law of Attraction draws to us the inspiration and awareness that is required for it to unfold. All we need to do is say "Yes, Spirit, I am ready. Use me as you will!"
As Caroline Reynolds reminds us in the opening quote, we can then abide in Truth and trust the guidance of Spirit within. Each week the Center is filled with opportunities for folks to do internal work. Perhaps the New Year will call forth a new commitment to go within. When we put as much attention and intention on the inner as we do on the outer, we see a great difference in our lives.
Holidays remind us to open our hearts and give from the place of unconditional love. Knowing we are always in the right place at the right time with the right people, we learn to bless all. Watch the outer shift as we shift within. It is very simple. As we love, we feel the love flowing in us. As we give, we receive the gift of giving. As we remember to live in each moment with a grateful heart, we reap the harvest of the "jubilant and beholden" consciousness. Emerson calls that a prayer.
Let us agree to step into Spirit and realize that It has always been there waiting for us to be all that we already are.
