"He who knows others is wise. He who knows himself is enlightened."
Lao Tzu
There is a story out of Jewish folklore that tickles my awakened soul to greater truths. It seems that a sage of Chelm went bathing in the lake and almost drowned. When he raised an outcry other swimmers came to his rescue. As he was helped out of the water he took a solemn oath: "I swear never to go into the water again until I have learned how to swim!"
How many of us feel like we are drowning in the waters of life? How can we learn to swim or better yet surf on the waves that life gives us? My answer to that would be, start taking classes! There is always more to learn, to discover and to master.
What we learn is that we already have a Power within us that never went anywhere. It is awaiting our recognition and personal discovery of it. Gloriously, the more we attend to this true Self the more we come to master the little self.
Our wonderful teaching is a synthesis of the Perennial Philosophy that was written about by Aldous Huxley. Dr. Ernest Holmes wove together a beautiful Science of Mind which might assist the hungry student in that process of Self recognition and mastery of their life. Simply put, we teach you how to swim through life, how to move ahead in an ocean of activity and not be pulled down through your own inability to master the art of conscious living.
There is a greater expression of Life that is calling all of us to remember who we are and once we do that it asks that we jump into it and splash around. Before we can do that we need to learn the mechanics of staying afloat. Our classes are intended to assist the individual in mastering the art of living with a joyful Intention so that we might manifest the life we desire.
There is an art to all that we do, a juiciness that makes each moment sweet and a profound meaning to the simplest of acts that are done with great love. Could we honor the Self enough to enter into a dance of unfoldment? Could we make a commitment to our Soul where we would never abandon it again? Could we put ourselves in service to the God of our-Being within and all around?
A new year awaits. A new Millennium is on the horizon. An awakened life is beckoning you. The time is now for all of us to respond by saying YES to that imprisoned splendor that is our Divine Potential... "that which was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end."
Combine your light with those of like mind and heart as we build the consciousness that will transform the world.
I Love You, Namasté
