"Say not, "I have found the truth,"
but rather, "I have found a truth."
Say not, "I have found the path of the soul."
Say rather, "I have met the soul walking upon my path."
For the soul walks upon all paths.
The soul walks not upon a line,
neither does it grow like a reed.
The soul unfolds itself, like a lotus of countless petals."
Kahlil Gibran
A new season of growth is upon us with each passing day. Oh, to be hungry for a new insight! Oh, to delight in a deeper feeling of the Presence!
Jesus kept telling us that the Kingdom was WITHIN ... that it was the Father WITHIN that doeth the work. Perhaps we might give some of our time and attention to that Self that lies within the self. When we do we are attempting to find our true nature. So we meditate and practice our yoga of choice all to access that Still Small Voice in the Kingdom.
Putanjani, the great yoga master said, "Yoga consists of the intentional stopping of the spontaneous mind stuff." When we make it our intention to STOP the movement of our monkey mind, it becomes a pond. When the winds of thought cease blowing, the mind becomes completely still and can reflect the face of God.
That moves us out of the intellect that judges and into the intuitive heart where there is no judgment. Why? Because, when we are in the One, what is there to judge?
We are here to love each other and let go of what divides us. When we come into an awareness of the Presence we realize that we are walking in a rain forest of grace all the time. God is all there is , but we must make that discovery for our self.
We are trying to find out who we are, and our journey must take us into transformation. Every class we take peels away a layer of forgetfulness. Every treatment we do expands our consciousness a little more. Every person we love takes us out of ourselves and into the Beloved.
The Beloved is calling. Will you respond? We must flower in our hearts and unfold from within our sweet soul. We never get there, we just get to enjoy the bloomin' process. Isn't that grand?
Like the honey a bee takes on her foot from the over spilling jar, we too take from the overflowing Spirit a morsel to digest.
